Dr. Netra Prakash Bhandary
Dr. Netra Prakash Bhandary graduated from the Aligarh Muslim University, India in 1993. After serving at a private engineering college in Nepal for nearly four years, Dr. Bhandary joined Ehime University in 1998 as a postgraduate student, also completing his doctoral studies there in 2003. Dr. Bhandary’s research interests range from slope stability, clay mineralogy, GIS-based landslide to earthquake hazard analysis. He is currently working on landslide mechanisms and residual-state creep behavior of landslide soils. He is an advisor to CoRD specifically in the areas of geo-hazards.
Udaya Kumar Regmi
Mr. Regmi is a graduate of the Tri-Chandra College, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He completed his MBA at Presidency University, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2012. Mr. Regmi has extensive work experience with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), having worked in positions such as Deputy Head of delegation, Project Officer, and Relief Coordinator. He is currently the Country Representative of the IFRC in Myanmar. He is an advisor to CoRD specifically in the areas of emergency response and disaster reduction.
