Dr. Hari Darshan Shrestha
Mr. Shrestha completed his masters in Structural Engineering from the Leningrad Institute of Civil Engineering, in the former USSR in 1991. He has over 21 years of experience in a number of sectors including international development, emergency response, post-disaster and conflict reconstruction & rehabilitation, and civil engineering design and construction. In this period, he has served in different organization like Save the children, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). Mr. Shrestha is currently an Associate Professor at the Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. Mr.Shrestha founded CoRD in 2011, after having travelled to disaster zones in Haiti and Aceh and realising that Nepal, like these regions lacked resilient construction and communities, and was continuously vulnerable to earthquakes and other natural hazards.
Dr. Rayamajhi graduated from the Amrit Science Campus, Tribhuvan University, Nepal,in 1982. He completed his two Masters degrees, one in Forestry in from the Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy, India in 1990 and one in Natural Resource Management from Agricultural University of Norway in 1994. He then worked as a Sustainable Development officer at the United Nations Development Program’s Public Private Partnership for Urban Environment in Nepal. Following which he completed his PHD in Forestry and Natural Resource Management from the Faculty of Life Science University of Copenhagen, Denmark in 2010. Dr. S.Rayamajhi’s expertise includes resource management, conservation project planning and impact assessment, forest inventory and analysis, and livelihood analysis. He has published several papers and books in these areas. He is currently a lecturer of forestry at the Institute of Forestry, Pokhara, Nepal. He is a founding member of CoRD.
Dr. Jishnu K. Subedi
Dr. Subedi is a graduate from the Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University. He began his career in 1995 as a research assistant at the Nepal Engineering College where he went on to fullfill the position of Assistant Professor, Vice Principal and later as Coordinator of Masters in Disaster Risk Management. In 2004, he completed his PhD from Saitama University, Japan. He is currently a lecturer at the Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk, and is Chief of the Research and Training Unit (RTU). He is a founding member of CoRD and is an advisor to the organization specifically in the area of safer structural building design and construction.

Prof Dr. Pradeep K. Khadka
Prof Dr. Khadka is a graduate from the Institute of Economics, Tribhuvan University. He began his career in 1974,as a Assistant Research Officer, Center for Economic Development and Administration(CEDA),assistant lecturer in 1974, Head Department of Economics in 1988.In 1987, he completed his PhD from Leningrad Finance and Economic Institute, Russia (Former USSR). He is currently a Professor & Former Head, Central Department of Rural Development, Tribhuvan University. He is the member as well as finance AdministratorCum Treasurer of CoRD.
